This wine is the fruit of Roberto Lucarelli' s enological convictions; he knows only too well, that the "cannello lungo" Sangiovese loves to mature in barrique and he knows how to reveal its true temperament over the years. The brilliant, intense ruby-red colour and full nose of red and dark fruits, sweet spices, tabacco and forest floor, all inter-twine in an extraordinary balance of aromas. Soft and fresh on the palet, with a pleasant thread of tannins and a delicate fullness of flavour. A big wine born for ageing, a Reserve ready to challenge time.
